A FEW TIPS TO HELP YOUR KRATOM HEADACHES

For those of you that take kratom, you may have noticed you’re experiencing headaches more than normal. Obviously, something is causing the headaches but is it caused by kratom?

There’s no easy answer here, your headaches can be caused by a number of different things other than kratom.

Over the last few years, I’ve tried dozens of kratom strains. Because I’m always testing kratom quality, I’ve found that a few specific strains I was taking at the time were causing my headaches. The good news for me and hopefully some of you reading this, when I changed strains, I was no longer getting bad kratom headaches.

My recommendations, first, pay attention to the specific strains you’re taking. However, don’t jump to conclusions either, kratom may not be the cause of your headaches. There’s plenty of medical conditions that can cause headaches, such as being hungry, dehydration, tension, and so on.

If you do try a specific kratom strain such as red Thai kratom powder or Indonesian kratom, and you get headaches, you may want to try less, change your dosing time, or change to another strain. If you’re new to kratom, be sure to read our other articles here so you can educate yourself.

Secondly, the quality of your kratom matters. I know many people have complained about getting headaches from older, dry kratom. I can second that myself. The quality of the kratom drops as it ages, which is why we continuously keep fresh content in stock.

Third, be careful who you buy from. Some of the Reddit boards are calling our several kratom vendors for their “headache” kratom. Why I won’t mention any names myself, you can check out the thread here.

WAIT, IS IT JUST THE KRATOM?

There’s a possibility that the kratom is causing your headaches with something else that’s wrong with you. Also, it may not be the kratom at all, but rather some type of other condition you have.

I am not a doctor. I am not giving you medical advice, that’s illegal. Nobody knows your body better than you, just use sound judgement if you’re trying to determine if kratom is causing headaches. This is NOT medical advice.

Do you drink a lot of caffeine? If so, caffeine is known for giving people headaches. If you’re use to drinking 6 pops a day and you only have 1 for the day, you may get a caffeine headache.

Are you in front of a computer all the time? Maybe your iPhone? This can also cause your headaches.

Are you tensed? tension can cause headaches, heck it can kill you too. Alcohol can cause headaches, skipping meals can cause headaches, sugar can too also.

Again, there’s a number of different things that can cause headaches.

WHEN ARE YOU GETTING YOUR HEADACHES?

Some kratom users report they get headaches when their dose is wearing off.

When I first started taking kratom, I use to experience them myself. However, I was taking some shitty kratom back then, plus my body wasn’t use to it. I can’t say either way, but I do recall it.

I’ve known personal friends have the same problems.

HOW YOU CAN AVOID MOST HEADACHES

It’s important to know what’s causing your headaches and that’s tough for me to do here.

While you may not be able to control every headache, knowing what causes headaches in the first place can help you avoid a majority of them.

You know your body, you know what you’re doing on a regular basis. So, how you can avoid most headaches?

Here are some effective methods:

  •         Avoid skipping meals, tensed out, drinking too much soda, you may find your headaches will go away.
  •         See your doctor if your headache is frequent. Having regular headaches is not normal and it could be a symptom of something else.
  •         You have to treat your body well, especially as you get older. Trust me.

Hopefully this will help you determine what to do next because regular headaches are no fun at all.

KRATOM AND HEADACHES

Summary, does kratom cause headaches? It has been reported that when taken with prescription medicines Kratom does cause abnormal brain function. This may bring you a severe headache, sometimes lose your ability to communicate or become confused.

Remember;

  •         Low quality kratom can cause headaches
  •         Certain strains may be responsible for your headaches
  •       New kratom users may get headaches more than usual
  •        Choose a vendor that has high quality kratom for sale

Thanks for this post! I just recently started having headaches on this new batch that I just bought but have never had them in the 6 years I’ve been taking it…. so I’m thinking it’s either the particular strain that I have or it’s just a bad batch
